Professional solution stability calculator for HPLC (peak area) or UV-Vis (absorbance) methods, covering Assay, Dissolution, Content Uniformity, and Related Substances/Impurity testing. Enter your Initial system suitability and sample result once, then add as many stability time points as your protocol needs — 24 hours, 48 hours, 72 hours, or a custom duration — each with its own Room Temperature and Refrigerator readings. Instantly get Result %, %Difference from Initial for both the Standard and Sample solutions, and an automatic Pass/Fail verdict against your acceptance limit. Includes a Result % trend chart, full step-by-step math log, and a built-in Beginner Tips & Guide tab.

Core Formulas
mg/Tablet = (Area/AbsorbanceSample × WeightStandard × Dilution Factor × Average Weight) ÷ (Area/AbsorbanceStandard, that block's own fresh reading × WeightSample) × (Potency ÷ 100)
Result % = (mg/Tablet ÷ Label Claim) × 100
% Difference = | Value A − Value B | ÷ [ (Value A + Value B) ÷ 2 ] × 100
Standard Solution block: Concentration of Std = Weight of Standard × Dilution Factor of Standard; Conc. Spiked = Weight of Spl × Dilution Factor of Standard; Conc. Found = (Absorbance/Area of Sample ÷ Average of fresh Standard) × Concentration of Std; Result % = Conc. Found ÷ Conc. Spiked × 100; % Difference = | 100 − Result % | ÷ [ (100 + Result %) ÷ 2 ] × 100
How this calculator is organized: Solution stability is split into five completely independent calculation modes — Initial, 24 Hours, 48 Hours, 72 Hours, and Custom. You must pick one mode before anything calculates — there is no default. Inside every time-point mode, you then pick one of two independent boxes — Standard Solution Stability or Sample Solution Stability — each with its own complete data set (its own fresh Standard system suitability, its own Room Temperature and/or Refrigerator readings — you add RT, RF or both, whichever your protocol used — and for the Sample box, its own formula constants). Nothing is ever shared or mixed between modes or between the Standard/Sample boxes — each one calculates fresh, on its own data, exactly like re-running a separate worksheet. Each Standard box also has its own required Reference % field (no default — you type in whatever your SOP specifies) that its %Difference is measured against, and each Sample box has its own Initial Result % field (with a one-click, fully editable "use Initial's result" convenience) that its %Difference is measured against — both are plain data fields inside that box, never a live formula link to another mode.
Acceptance Criteria & Display
Applies to the fresh Standard system suitability in every mode
Applies to Standard & Sample %Difference, at RT and RF
Controls displayed digits only — does not affect calculation accuracy
🧭 Step 1 — Required
Select Calculation Mode
Pick one mode to begin — nothing below unlocks until you do. Every mode is fully independent: its data, its Calculate button, its own result. Switching modes never carries values across.
✅ Active Mode: — — this mode's data is completely independent of every other mode.
👆 Select a mode above to unlock the data-entry form. Nothing calculates until you choose.

Print → Destination → "Save as PDF" — this guarantees the layout, spacing, and margins look exactly like this screen (some printers add their own extra margin on one side, which "Save as PDF" avoids).
Then open More settings and uncheck Headers and footers for a clean file with no browser title/URL/date.
If the report runs onto more than one page, a small "Page X of Y" number is added automatically at the bottom of each page (supported on recent Chrome/Edge versions).
