Count the number of valid replicates (n) and compute the arithmetic mean (x̄):

Step 2 — Sum of Squared Deviations & Variance
Compute each deviation from the mean, square it, sum them, and divide by (n−1) to get variance (s²):

Take the square root of the variance to get the sample standard deviation (s):
